2013 Summer Enrollment
Openings Now available
The MDO Program is an extension of the children's ministries of
First United Methodist Church of Sachse. We have loving and
nuturing teachers to provide a Christian childcare program using
faith based pre-school curriculum. Care is provided for
church members as well as being an outreach
to the surrounding community.
4 classes are offered, one for each age group; from 2 to 5 years.
We also offer a Kindergarten Prep class in the fall to
help prepare young ones for that next step.

Classes offered:
2's & young 3's will be a class.
Older 3's, 4's & younger 5's will be a class.
Older 5's, Kindergarten - 3rd Grade will be a class.
(Children must be potty trained before entering the older 3 year old class)
Days and Times:
Monday and/or Thursday mornings
8:30am - 2:30pm

Every Sunday morning at 9:40, our children
from Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to
participate in an interactive Bible Study;
a great time of learning about God in ways
they can understand and fun to experience!
For the love of our children,
children will only be released to a parent or
adult guardian at the end of the Sunday school hour.
For the love of our teachers,
parents are asked to remember the covenant we have
with those who teach our children: Sunday school ends at 10:45
and parents will come for their children at that time.
For the love of our guests,
children are asked to take and eat only one doughnut or snack on Sundays.
For the love of our church,
no doughnuts or snacks will be allowed in Sunday school classrooms.
How to Use My Bible...
...Our 2nd through 5th graders will have an
exciting curriculum for Sunday school this summer.
Beginning June 2nd, we will be learning How to Use My Bible.
This fun and creative curriculum helps the children
to learn the parts of the Bible, where the different books are,
how to look up verses, and what the different books talk about.
Lots of games come with this curriculum, too.
During the summer months, on the last Sunday of each month,
the 2nd through 5th graders will have Game Day in the Family Life Center.

 Acolyte Updates
You are invited to be in service to our church as an ACOLYTE.
We need dedicated young people to assist in our worship
services at 11:00am.
Please consider this opportunity to make a difference
in your life and that of First United Methodist Church of Sachse!

Explorers are all kids who are currently in 3rd to 5th grade!!
That is all that’s required to be in the "most fun" group of all!!
